Membership Terms and Conditions
Submitting an application to join Knox REIA is an acknowledgement and acceptance that you have read and understand – and will abide by – the policies and provisions in our Membership Policies, Code of Ethics, Content Disclaimer, and Terms and Conditions.
Membership and Guest Registration Waiver
Upon submitting an application for membership and submitting payment, applicant does hereby acknowledge reading, understanding and adhering to the fact that publications, meetings, workshops, seminars, etc., produced, sponsored or promulgated by Knox REIA are designed to provide author’s or speaker’s opinion in regard to subject matter.
Such opinion is promulgated with the understanding that neither Knox REIA nor its individual authors, officers, directors, staff, or volunteers are thus engaged in rendering legal, accounting or professional service.
If legal or other expert assistance is required, the services of a competent professional person should be sought.
Similarly, public recognition of merchants or vendors offering special discounts or services to Knox REIA members shall not be construed as representing any form of warranty, endorsement or guarantee of such service, nor of member satisfaction therewith.
Knox REIA and its officers, directors, volunteers, staff and authors thus specifically disclaim any corporate or personal liability for any loss or risk as a consequence of the use or application, either directly or indirectly, of any service, product, advice or information provided.
Applicant does hereby allow Knox REIA the use and distribution of the information provided on the membership application unless otherwise stated in writing, and agrees and acknowledges that:
(i) applicant has received a copy of the Code of Ethics or has been provided access to this document; Click here to access the Code of Ethics, and agrees to abide by the same.
(ii) applicant has received a copy of the Membership Policies or has been provided access to this document; Click here to access the Membership Policies, and agrees to abide by the same.
(iii) applicant has received a copy of the Content Disclaimer or has been provided access to this document; Click here to access the Content Disclaimer, and acknowledges the terms therein.
(iv) at any time Knox REIA has the unconditional right not to accept the applicant as a member in its sole and absolute discretion, whereupon the applicant’s dues shall be promptly refunded to the applicant at the applicant’s address on file or original form of payment; and
(v) at any time Knox REIA has the right to revoke or suspend an applicant’s membership.
Applicant does hereby agree to abide by the Knox REIA Code of Ethics, Membership Policies, these Terms and Conditions, and acknowledges and understands the contents of the Content Disclaimer and the aforementioned documents.
These documents are posted publicly on the bottom of each web page.
Implied Consent
By providing your email address, phone number and or cell phone number, you are authorizing Knox REIA to contact you via email, voice and text for event reminders and special offers.
Your contact information will never be sold, but your information will be available on our website for other members, including vendor members, to find.
We will also provide your information to our national and local vendor partners periodically in order to verify your ongoing membership in Knox REIA in order to receive benefits, including discounts and rebates, from those vendor partners.
You can cancel Text/Email/Voice alerts/communications at any time by opting out via unsubscribe or texting “STOP” on the various forms of communication.
You must opt out of each form separately using the options provided.
Recurring Billing Waiver
I DO HEREBY AUTHORIZE MY MEMBERSHIP BE RENEWED EITHER MONTHLY, QUARTELY OR ANNUALLY, BASED ON THE MEMBERSHIP I/WE SELECTED AND THAT THE APPROPRIATE CHARGES (if any) BE APPLIED TO MY CREDIT CARD ON FILE.
SHOULD I WISH TO DISCONTINUE MY MEMBERSHIP, I SHALL COMPLY TO KNOX REIA’s POLICY TO SEND A WRITTEN NOTIFICATION VIA ELECTRONIC MAIL 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE NEXT RECURRING BILLING DATE, OR TO DIRECTLY CANCEL ONLINE AT THE ONLINE MEMBERSHIP PORTAL ON THE KNOXREIA.COM WEBSITE.

Membership Refund Policy
Monthly and Quarterly Memberships: are not refundable under any circumstances. These Memberships will renew automatically based on the type/interval of the Membership unless you cancel your Membership prior to the next billing cycle. You can cancel your Monthly or Quarterly membership at any time without penalty, and your Membership will lapse on the renewal date for your membership.
Annual Memberships: are refundable in the first 30 days. Conditionally, we also offer a 1 year refund policy under the following conditions:
– You must attend at least 6 Main Monthly Meetings.
After one year, if your membership automatically renews, you may request a refund in the first 30 days if you have not attended any meetings, events, seminars, workshops or purchased anything through Knox REIA with a member discount, from the automatic renewal date.
In the event that a Platinum Sponsor signs up in your category of business, your Vendor or Sponsorship will cease and we will a) downgrade you to a business 3 membership at no cost to you and b) refund the balance of your prior membership, prorated to the amount of time remaining before your next renewal.
Please be aware that your local and national membership benefits, including discounts and rebates from local and national vendor partners, will terminate at the end of your membership term, and you may forfeit any rebates earned for the prior earning period.

Once this information has been received, your additional person(s) on your membership will receive an email with a “password reset link.” Please have each person click on this link to continue setting up their profile.
If you need to change or remove an extra member registered on your account, please contact us at membership@knoxreia.com and let us know who needs to be removed – this email must come from the “owner” of the knoxreia.com account.
Event Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise noted in the Event Payment Details, as general rule, refunds may be obtained provided that cancellations are received at least 7 days prior to the Event. However, refunds for events are not guaranteed. Refunds depend upon the policies of 3rd party vendors and other factors. By registering for this event, you understand that you may not receive a full refund should you need to withdraw. All cancellation and refund requests should be made to Knox REIA from the Contact Us page, by emailing events@knoxreia.com, or by calling us at (865) 314-REIA (7342).

Knox REIA does not exist to render, and does not give legal, tax, economic or investment advice and disclaims all liability for the actions or inaction taken or not as a result of communications from or to its members, officers, directors, employees and contractors.
